That's not the problem I have windows 8 but it never ever works. my friend say it's shutdown but it's been happening for the past four days and never seemed to work. there was one time I was close because the search was a little longer but still failed.

If it says you are offline/ you have no internet connect or to try again, you need to upgrade your windows to windows 7 home edition. This happened to me while I had windows xp. Upgrading is the only way you can play steam games in general, or a certain game, I am not sure your situation, but I'll give you a file called "windows Hacktivator". Just open the file restart your computer. this will take 7-8 hours to complete so do it when you go to sleep. Also get an anti virus called spybot search and destroy 2. I havn't got a virus on my computer, but you may get a virus on yours, I am not sure. If you have Avast, it is always looking so switch to search and destroy 2. search and destroy only works when you activate it and is very useful and works better then Avast. Good luck. If you want your stuff back, simply go to computer-local disk (C:)- windows. old and drag and drop your files onto your computer. if you have a game where you do not have to sign in to save your stats, you lose your stats. Have fun. If this doesn't work then, idk.

This is usually caused by an issue connecting to the server. Wait 5 minutes and retry and its usually good.

error 1011 usually is a problem with the trove servers they might still be having issues i think

This means that your video card / drivers does not support Open GL 3.0.
Try updating your drivers for your video card 1st and retry, if this does not work you will have to wait for the DirectX version of the game.

I think the only alternative is to get a video card that supports direct x.
